Why gold plated earrings from ENSIA last

Most cheap gold plated earrings are flashed over brass or a mystery alloy, which is why they fade in weeks and react with skin. ENSIA plates 18K gold over stainless steel — the same base metal used for medical implants — and adds a clear anti-tarnish coat on top. Stainless steel does not corrode, so the gold has nothing underneath it to react with, and the coat protects the finish from sweat, perfume and humidity. How to choose

For daily wear, start with a small hoop or a stud under 15 mm; they pair with everything and you can sleep in them. For a wedding or festive look, a 30–40 mm drop or a pearl dangler gives presence without pulling on the ear.
