How to pick a size

Hoop size is measured as the outer diameter. Under 15 mm is a huggie — it hugs the lobe and disappears under hair. 18–25 mm is the classic everyday hoop most people wear daily. 30 mm and above is a statement. If you are buying your first pair, a 20 mm plain gold hoop is the safest choice; it works on every face shape and with every outfit.

Why ENSIA hoops don't fade

Cheap hoops are gold-flashed brass, which oxidises under sweat and turns the hoop dark and the lobe green. ENSIA uses stainless steel — the same grade used for surgical implants — under a real 18K gold layer, then adds a clear anti-tarnish coat. If the finish fades in normal wear within six months, we replace the pair. Every hoop has a secure hinged closure or a snap-back post; no butterfly backs that fall off.
